creating the look for "French Kiss"

The look "French Kiss" was created by House of Donald K.(Montreal) for a video promo for a forthcoming print media campaign for galerie mondomedeusah gallery. "French Kiss" is fire engine red lips with light tones to accentuate cheek bones and a more defined facial bone structure. The video was shot in black and white and directed by Donald K. We were looking for something really raw and rugged. Staying away from the "prim and proper" look is what we wanted to do at all costs. "French Kiss" is the independent woman who gets paid in full and simply does what she wants, it's confidence with a French attitude of sophistication but still keeping it urban and street. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

House of Donald K : "PORNSTAR PiNk" the lookbook spring and summer 2011

Creative Director Donald K. drops "PiNk" with (HDK) House of Donald K. for early spring. Why the name "PORNSTAR PiNk" for this alternative fashion lookbook? He wanted to shoot an actual porn actress for the lookbook so he started to cast in Montreal and voilà! "PiNk" will come with a mixtape which will debut the mondomedeusah soundsystem and some odd video footage free for all. Look for it in 2011.
